Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and ArtistBots ("we", "us"). By creating an account, generating an API key, buying a plan or sending a request to the API, you confirm that you have read these terms and agree to follow them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. How we handle your information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

1. Not affiliated with YouTube or Spotify

ArtistBots is an independent, third-party service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube, Google LLC, or Spotify. Their names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are mentioned only to describe what our API connects to. Using ArtistBots does not give you any rights in those platforms or in the content on them.

2. The service

ArtistBots provides a web portal and an HTTP API that lets developers and bot builders search for media and request audio or video through our backend. The service depends on third-party platforms and infrastructure that we do not control. We may add, change, limit or remove features, endpoints, quality levels and limits at any time.

3. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live, or have a parent or guardian accept these terms for you. You can sign in with Google, or create an account with your full name, Gmail address and a password. Email accounts are confirmed with a 6-digit one-time code that we send to your inbox; the code is valid for 2 minutes, so request a new one if it expires. Passwords must be at least 8 characters, and you can reset yours from the Forgot password link on the sign-in page. If you signed in with Google you can also add a password later from Settings, confirmed with an emailed code.

You must give accurate details and use an email address you control. You are responsible for keeping your password and inbox secure and for everything that happens under your account. Do not create multiple accounts to get around plan limits, rate limits or a suspension.

4. API keys

Each API key is personal to your account and tied to the plan it was issued with. Do not share, sell, publish or hard-code a key in a public repository or client-side app; treat it like a password. If a key is exposed, revoke or regenerate it from your Dashboard straight away. You are responsible for every request made with your keys, whether or not you made it yourself.

5. Acceptable use

Use ArtistBots only for lawful purposes and in line with YouTube's and Spotify's terms of service and the copyright and intellectual-property laws that apply to you. You are solely responsible for the content you search for, download, cache, store or redistribute through the API. ArtistBots is a technical tool, not a publisher, and does not review or endorse the media that passes through it. You may only request content that you own, that is in the public domain or openly licensed, or that you otherwise have the right to use in the way you intend.

You agree not to:

• mass-download copyrighted content for resale, piracy or unauthorised redistribution;
• present a service built on ArtistBots as an official YouTube, Google or Spotify product;
• get around plan limits, quotas or rate limits, including through multiple accounts or automated key generation;
• probe, scan, attack, overload or try to gain unauthorised access to the service, other accounts or our systems;
• resell, sublicense or share API access with others without our written permission;
• use the service for anything illegal, harmful, fraudulent or abusive, or to harass or harm anyone.

6. Billing, wallet and plans

ArtistBots uses a prepaid wallet: no recurring subscription and no card kept on file. You add money through Razorpay (UPI, cards or netbanking), then activate a plan that sets your daily request limit, per-minute rate limit and validity period. Plans do not renew automatically; when one ends, you top up and choose the next one. Prices are shown in Indian rupees (₹) and apply when you buy. We may change prices, plans and limits for future purchases; plans you have already bought keep the limits they were bought with.

Wallet top-ups are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. If a payment fails, gets stuck or is charged twice, message us on Telegram with the transaction details and we will correct your wallet balance.

7. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel an active plan at any time from your Billing page or by messaging us on Telegram with your account email. Cancelling stops that plan and its key from being used, but it does not undo the top-up that paid for it.

Refunds are not available. Once a plan is activated, that amount is considered used and cannot be returned to your wallet or original payment method, whether you cancel early, use only part of your limits, or decide not to continue. Please check a plan's limits and price before you buy it. The Free plan cannot be cancelled.

8. Fair use, limits and availability

Signing in, reading the docs and generating a key are free; the wallet is only used once you buy a plan. Each plan has a validity period, a daily request limit and sometimes a total quota. We monitor traffic volume and patterns to keep the service fast and fair, and we may slow down, queue or block traffic that threatens the service. Normal use within your plan's limits is always welcome. If your project needs heavy, sustained traffic beyond a standard plan, contact us first. Requests that fail on our side are not counted against your quota.

We aim to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. It may be unavailable for maintenance, upgrades or reasons outside our control, including changes made by third-party platforms.

9. Intellectual property and copyright complaints

The ArtistBots name, website, design and software are ours or our licensors'. These terms do not give you any right to them except to use the service as described here. Media returned by the API belongs to its respective owners, and nothing in these terms transfers any rights in it to you.

If you are a rights holder and believe content available through ArtistBots infringes your rights, message us on Telegram with: a description of the work, the link or video ID involved, your contact details, a statement that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them, and a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised. We will review valid notices promptly and may remove cached copies and suspend accounts that repeatedly infringe.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend, rate-limit or permanently revoke an account or API key that is used for abusive, excessive, automated or unlawful traffic, or that breaks these terms, with or without prior notice. If we end your access because of your breach, any remaining plan balance is not refunded. You can stop using ArtistBots at any time and ask us to delete your account on Telegram. Sections that by their nature should continue after termination (such as billing, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability and governing law) will continue.

11. No warranty

ArtistBots is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability and non-infringement. Its speed, features and results depend on third-party platforms we do not control and may change or stop working without notice.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill or business, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the plan in question in the 3 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold us harmless against claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) that arise from your use of the service, the content you request or distribute, or your breach of these terms or of any law or third-party right.

14. General

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If any part of them is found to be unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your account or these terms to anyone else; we may transfer ours as part of a business change. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the service.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves, and will change the "Last updated" date when we do. If you keep using ArtistBots after a change is published here, you accept the updated terms. It is worth checking this page from time to time if you run a production integration.
